This training session, Counseling Black Women, focuses on helping mental health professionals develop culturally humble strategies for working with Black women. Through group discussions and interactive activities, the session aims to equip participants with the tools necessary to provide culturally responsive care that honors the unique lived experiences of Black women. Introduce myself

Reflection & Activity (20 minutes)
Share a Power Flower with the attendees and guide them to create their own.
Facilitate a discussion about power, privilege, and what to consider when working with Black women.
Closing Activity (10 minutes)
Attendees will share their main takeaway from today’s training and one action they plan to implement in their future work with Black women.
